Hotel San Giovanni Roma - Rome

The location was excellent, within short walking distance to Taberna Recina. The twin/double room I was given was complete with a sofa, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. The food was well priced and fresh.

Thoroughly enjoyed our functional rooms in this hotel.

The hotel was clean, staff was very polite and accommodating. Everything was great, yet a few employees were very rude. The room with spacious bathroom. The breakfast in the restaurant was fresh made and excellent to start your day. The location was good and magnificent, right next to a single - arched gate. The property was located right next to a bus stop.

Marvellous location to an oval amphitheatre. An electronic key card, flat-screen TV, and a writing desk available in the twin/double room. Supportive and fabulous staff and quick to respond.

This one had me thinking.

Staying here left me pondering the balance between comfort and location. While the cute staff and good breakfast were good, the distant location from main attractions and noise disturbances from nearby rooms hindered an otherwise pleasant experience. For a brief visit, it meets basic needs, but longer stays might prompt reconsideration.

The location was perfect, just a 15-minute stroll to the Colosseum. Plus, the room was super clean and spacious. I loved the free snacks in the minifridge and the really good bathroom amenities that were restocked daily.

I loved the breakfast here-freshly baked croissants and a good selection of organic juices! The only downside was the absence of a coffee maker in the room. Overall a nice stay 😊

The Superior Single Room was cozy but a bit tight for space. The bed was pretty comfy,. It had all the necessary amenities, but I would've liked a water boiler. The bathroom was nice, plenty of hot water, and clean. It was decent for a solo traveler like me, but not a lot of extra room to move around.

The stay was fantastic with a cozy room, and the breakfast was a real treat! There’s a comfy lounge area and a great outdoor space to unwind. Just wish the room had better temperature control, but overall, it was a lovely stay. 😊

The decor was charming. The lobby was beautifully designed, and the staff even offered to help with my bags.

More seating options in common areas would be nice.

The staff at Hotel San Giovanni Roma were attentive. I appreciated the clean and spacious room with a lovely sitting area perfect. The breakfast was tasty and offered plenty of options, including excellent coffee.

Families should consider this place

The hotel was clean. And the staff were really helpful, especially when we needed extra towels for the kids. Plus, there was an Italian restaurant nearby that had the best food quality, I mean it had 'Romo' in its name if I remember right.

It wasn't pricey, but I wouldn't say it's a bargain either.

I loved being so close to beautiful landmarks like the Baths of Caracalla, just about 1.5 km away, and enjoying the charming vibe at nearby cafes where I could grab a bite or coffee after a long day of exploring. The room was clean and spacious, a comfy base for my weekend city strolls.
